Hot end fan plug-in question

Post by Lucidwolf » Mon Aug 27, 2018 3:49 am

Greetings,

Why is the hot end fan not plugged into one of the always on connector of the Duet?
Is it not always on for the Titan Aero?

See guide step 75:

Thanks in advance,

The E3D fan is on PWM controllable pins so the fan can thermostatically turned on/off.

Yeah that makes sense to save the fan hours. Looks like the PSU is the same way. Guess i am just used to slumming it with cheap boards and PSUs that don't have all these bells and whistles.
