Would it be possible to also use the TrickLaser carriages with their arms on the D300VS?

The Trick Truck carriages will not work on the D300VS, it has 20mm wide towers. Trick Trucks are for 1" (25.4 MM ) Towers.
A 20 MM version of Trick Trucks is being developed, no release date set.

However you could use the Trick Laser aluminum effector platform with Brad's printed ball-cup carriages.
Both have 50 MM ball spacing.

Don't forget to change the arm length in your config.g file if you use the 375mm tricklaser arms.

I'm using 330mm Trick Laser arms on a K250. I wanted to increase the minimum angle from the 288mm mag ball rods and also get full 250mm bed coverage.

I'm strongly considering purchasing the necessary parts to migrate from a Kossel 250 V-Slot to a D300VS. If I were to proceed, I plan to use the Trick Laser arms and Michael's Titan Areo effector since I'm already using an Aero on my K250 and love the way it's been performing.

I have some questions regarding the necessary hardware for Brad's 3D printable ball-cup carriages. At the top of this post it says 3x 6mm eccentrics and 3x 3mm spacers are needed for the carriages. Wouldn't a set of these carriages require 6x spacers? And why the different length of eccentric vs spacer? Unless perhaps the list above assumes one is reusing 9mm spacers from the mag-ball carriages and the 3mm spacers are to adapt 6mm eccentrics? But then why not simply use 9mm eccentrics? Perhaps I'm over-complicating things....

Assuming I were to reuse my V-slot wheels for these ball-cup carriages, what spacers and eccentrics would I need for a new D300 build?

If you're coming from a mag ball carriage setup you only need 3 eccentrics and 3 -3mm spacers since the old carriages have all the other spacers needed.
If your starting from new then your need 2- 9mm spacers and 1 eccentric and 1- 3mm spacer
They don't make a 9mm eccentric, thats why you need the 3mm spacer

BUT if you are changing from a K250VS... you need:
- 9mm spacers (x6)
- 3mm spacers (x3)
- 6mm eccentric spacers (x3)
- M3x20 SHCS (x3)

The rebuild/upgrade from my UltiBots Kossel 250 to a D300VS is done! I did all the printed parts on my ORD Bot in orange ABS for a cool Prusa MK2 look, and I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Four perimeters with lots of infill made for some really solid parts.

So far the Ball-Cup arrangement seems to be working well, and using 375.0mm for the diagonal rod setting nets me PERFECT dimensional accuracy without any need to tweak it. There doesn't seem to be any signs of effector tilt either.

The only issue I ran into is the belt wedges for the adjustable carriages were way too small and pulled about 2/3 of the way out of the ends of their slots. I wonder if the amount of shrinkage ABS is prone to is part of the reason, but I had to re-scale them about 1mm wider to make them workable...and they could easily use another 1/3 mm more. Other than that, and struggling a little bit with the springs on the Trick-Laser arms, I'd say the ball-cup configuration is a winner!

Don't mind the curled corner of the calibration part, I printed on bare glass and in my haste for a first print I forgot to clean the glass first.

Orange/Black looks great! Glad upgrade went well. I made tweaks of the belt wedges for SLS prints and uploaded the SLS STLs to the GitHub without thinking of the affect to FDM prints. Having 2 versions SLS/FDM doesn't make sense. Will need to rethink and resolve.
