You can pull it from there. However you would some of the files such as bed.g and config.g from the firmware on the forum since they have the settings for the Ultibot d300vs in them.

any chance you can link to those files? you probably can find them way faster than a new user. thanks!

Thanks for the info, this is good to know it's an option. I hesitated to upgrade to 1.19.2 till I saw it on the ultibots github. I love the ability to stream a camera now as opposed to a jpeg file.

Maybe you could just identify the stuff on your github as officially tested and configured.

Originally I thought it might have been a fork with special code.

Please post details here and/or on FB about streaming video. We have not tried it at UltiBots. Sounds cool!

OH ok, someone helped me from the duet forum but basically it came down to motion, either with mjpeg streamer or motioneye, can be added to the web control in duet. Turned out to be a new feature in 1.19.

So for my d300vs+ I have an RPI with a logitech usb camera. mjpeg streamer uses the motion package that you can install on raspbian stretch. It will then host a streaming image only page on port 8081.

In the web control for duet, you point it at the ip and port and it will show up as soon as you start to print.

The previous version it appears required an image file be written every 5 seconds or so but now this works ans is pretty quick (a few frames a second).

I don't do many tall prints but the thought I had for that would be to use wget to scrape the duet web ctl and get the z height progress. As it goes up in layers, a server could tilt the camera up to follow. Between grep, sed, awk and cut, you can you can extract the position from the html. Probably script it to frame grab too and make a time lapse.
