Proper abs gush

Post by Rod McMillan » Fri Jun 01, 2018 1:47 pm

Hello: I have calibrated my K250vs/azteeg with G32, M306 Z0 saved M500 at abs temperatures jhead 230 C bed 110 C but I do not quite get the prober push(gush, smear) of the filament on the first layer. What do you recommend as a way to fine adjust this? Is it making the z offset more negative with M206? Cheers Rod

We found printing ABS on PEI sheet with the printer enclosed most effective to keep the first layer down. You may need to adjust the Z offset more to increase the smush. We also have tried glass, blue tape, ABS Juice, PVA glue, etc... but found PEI sheet best. Purchase some from CS Hyde.
