Re: Max weight for FSRs

I don't have that data. Check out https://www.interlinkelectronics.com. The FSR we sell is the 402. Maybe contact them and speak to their engineers. Please post back you findings.

Re: Creaky Pulleys

We have F623ZZ bearings and a limited supply of Stainless Steel idlers on the webstore. Replacing them may be the way to go.

Please post details here and/or on FB about streaming video. We have not tried it at UltiBots. Sounds cool!

Re: Arm Length

Good catch... 379 is the in the current ZIP on our GitHub. It was derived on our PLUS developmental printer for dimensional accuracy. It is probably best to use 375 the "official" Ball-Cup arm length and then recommend users perform dimensional tests and adjust the arm length as needed.

Re: bed struggling to get to temp or stay at temp

The more I think about it... If the Duet is not rebooting (loss of power), the issue is more likely Duet related as the heat bed is powered off the Duet and the Duet powered by the PSU. I recommend asking about this on the Duet forum. The Duet guys have a much larger knowledge base and can provide b...

Re: Understanding Probing and Trigger Z Height

@Rob - I don't know the command to save the offset. We set the "typical" offset in the config file and run auto-cal each print. We monitor the first layer and use micro stepping to tweak the first layer. I recommend posting on the Duet forum and/or join Michael Hackney's Slack channel. More info at ...

Re: bed struggling to get to temp or stay at temp

If and only if... you feel comfortable with this test... (I take NO responsibility for damage/fire/burns) you could wire the heater directly to the PSU 24v +/- terminals. You will need to MONITOR the heater and be READY to kill the A/C power to the PSU if the heater gets too hot. You will need an IR...

Re: extruder motor stops turning

That is great news! AND... who would have thought. I know that the filament is often charged. It picks up dust like crazy. Maybe low humidity adds to the static charge resulting in the motor shutting down? Maybe why I haven't had this problem in Florida.

You were definitely thinking out of the box!

Good to know! My pads slip. I often reposition them. I will try CA soon :)
