Re: bed struggling to get to temp or stay at temp

thanks Brad. i should also point out this issue is intermittent. today i was able to print for around 6 hours until the bed quit heating and the print failed. does this help diagnosis at all? i understand how to wire the bed heater directly to the PSU, but what do i look for once i've done that? i h...

Re: bed struggling to get to temp or stay at temp

no changes to the config file, no upgraded firmware, no changes to fans or room environment.

i measured the resistance to be at 2.6 ohms.

could you please be more specific on how i should focus on the PSU and motion controller? is it time to try a different power supply?

Re: calibration cube rear corners horrible, front corners very nice

if this same m3 bolt is to be used to mount to effector, a recess for the head of the bolt will be necessary to prevent it from hitting the blower fan. sorry i didn't notice that sooner!

Re: calibration cube rear corners horrible, front corners very nice

thanks Brad! couple things: is this how it's suppose to mount? i had to cut the top a little, it bumped the effector. there is no nut trap to connect the top right fan bolt, and the vents at the bottom look like they might be aimed more at the heater block than the printed part? i should add that i'...

Re: calibration cube rear corners horrible, front corners very nice

Brad mentioned concerns about the part cooler, perhaps i didn't setup the tusk part cooler correctly? part cooler settings at 50 for loops, inside, and cool, Z min 1mm.

Re: Print cooling fan failure

isysdamn, sorry for the delayed reply. i just verified and it definitely worked for me, you're certain you moved the part cooler fan to fan2 input on duet? i wonder if this means fan2 mosfet also fried on your duet? you verified the part cooler blower works by plugging it into the always on ports ne...
