Re: Ball cup arm mount broke

You can order a single cut to length as a replacement. I stepped on one of mine and it snapped.

Re: E3d admits bearing problem

Got my bearings and my printer is back in order. I couldn't wait for E3d to send me new bearings so I ordered these https://www.bocabearings.com/products/ycwk95-yzz-af2-6846 In case anyone is curious I use those bearings on both my extruders and use the tiny motors @ 1.2a with heatsink. The printer...

Re: E3d admits bearing problem

Good on E3D for acknowledging that some Aero extruders have bearing issue and offering a fix. FYI, I estimate that < 5% of UltiBots customers were affected. Agreed, this is why you spend the extra money, service. They sent me a motor to replace the pan cake one pretty quick from Europe. Sometimes p...

Re: Titan Aero *UPGRADE*

I've read on a store page that the pancake stepper isn't viable for 3mm filament, so I imagine volcano hot ends would be hard also.

Re: Bed leveling issues

I did just that when i first was commissioning the printer. The second time i used a section of cement floor i checked with a level, and ratcheting 36" in clamps to assemble the top/bottom. I am always between .01 and .03 deviation on prints and auto calibration, but my table isn't solid. I just sol...

Maximum wight on the effector

What's the maximum effector weight ( with titan ) anyone runs?

Got my 1.7a motor replacement from e3d, it's 250~ grams vs the 160 on the 1.4 pancake.

Anyone have experience with heavier steppers n the plus?

Re: Aero Titan Issues

Ok, so three thing solved the backlash issue; First my bearing did not exhibit dust, but when changed with the amazon ones, and oiled backlash was gone. Secondly I had the motor shaft gear 1mm above the plastic gear wheel. Third I did NOT tighten the top right bolt barely finger tight and checking i...
